Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 1, 2026
1. Privacy-First Commitment
At YTMP3, we consider user privacy a fundamental digital right. We have architected our technical audio conversion pipeline to operate under a strict Zero Personal Data Logging standard.
2. Data Handling & 15-Minute Transient RAM Storage
When you submit a URL for conversion:
- Our VPS nodes fetch only the stream data requested by your browser.
- Audio transcoding takes place entirely in temporary volatile RAM disks.
- Files remain available for exactly 15 minutes to allow download completion.
- An automated cron daemon permanently shreds temporary files upon expiration.
- We do not keep permanent media libraries or track user-specific conversion logs.
3. Server Logs & Analytics
Standard web server diagnostics (HTTP status codes, response times, and aggregated bandwidth metrics) are collected strictly for network capacity monitoring and DDoS mitigation. We do not store or sell individual user IP addresses or build advertising profiles.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
YTMP3 uses standard browser local storage solely to remember user-selected UI preferences (such as audio bitrate choice or theme settings). We do not deploy intrusive third-party cross-site tracking cookies.
5. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to request information regarding your personal data. Because we do not associate conversions with user identities or collect personal identifiers, no identifiable records are maintained.
